Hello,

I am Blue Moon,

I am a fully practicing Witch since about 1988. I am mostly Green with a little grey in there too. I love nature, and plants and getting my hands in the dirt and feeling the wonderful nurturing energy that Mother nature has to offer. I think I was a tree in a former life. LOL. Or maybe a Dryad.

But I was born a Witch in 1966, I knew my calling since I was a Wee Witchling of about 4 or 5 years old, but did not know what to do about it except act it out in play with friends. My ancestors are Celtic and Norse. So it goes way back in the blood lines on each my Mothers Norse side and my fathers Irish side.

As a child, I checked out every single Little Witch book from my school library as often as I was allowed to. Those books fed my little Witchy spark. It is so sad they banned all of those from the schools now days. But I do have my own now. And I do offer some in my shop.

I finally reached out to others and started my own path in 1988. It was slow and steady, until I met Swift River, who stole my heart away. He was not afraid to let me ride the wind, wild and free and treated me like a true Witch needs be.

So things got better and better, he fully supported my calling and let me be me! After many years of study and training in other Covens, Classes, and Circles, I started my own Coven. I taught and ran my Coven for over 7 years, every Saturday, rain or shine, sick or healthy, I had so many folks who needed a safe, loving, and accepting place to call home, I could not afford to close down for even one weekend. So I taught until I could no longer afford to. I basically supplied everything for our classes, food, drink, love and acceptance. But all good things must come to an end.

I created my MidnightMagickMarket, a home based shop, after my husband had a terrible stroke and can no longer work. So, I was working two full time jobs until Covid hit us, we are both high risk so I can not work outside of home anymore. I thank my lucky stars and the Universe for the forewarning of this Covid crisis a couple years ago when I finally got a huge pulling to put the pedal to the metal and get this shop going as I am the only one who can support me and my disabled husband now.

I thank all of my wonderful customers for helping make this shop happen. If not for you we would not be here today. You made it happen and I am forever grateful to every single person who has ever popped into my little shop, for purchases or just browsing and liking items as this also helps spread my shop around to others. It is a lot of work but I do like working on Etsy. But it is fun work. And I meet so many amazing folks in here.

I offer a wide array of wonderful, vintage, new, used, antique, odd, unique and unusual, books and magic items at great prices. Some items are my own personal items, some are won at auctions, some come from Estate Sales, some from old book stores, antique shops, metaphysical shops, some come from far away, and some just happen to cross my path at the right time for the right person. And it just may be you. As I have a very strong knack for that. I come across items I would never buy in a million years but something pulls so hard that I have to buy it, and yep, someone finds it here, after agonizing searches, it finally reaches them. I am just the middle man I guess.
